LGRIG® Stainless Steel Double Barrel Crimping Loop Sleeve, also called Stainless Steel Hourglass Sleeves, double barrel crimping ferrules.

Stainless Steel Double Barrel Crimping Loop Sleeve is ideal for use with stainless steel wire rope and cable, easily hand crimped for stainless wire balustrading with a burr-free profile that prevents fraying of wires during insertion.

Stainless Steel Hourglass Sleeves are made from Type 304 or Type 316 Stainless Steel with a highly polished finish for added corrosion resistance, and unlike aluminium ferrules, they will not promote galvanic corrosion when used with stainless wire rope.

Double barrel crimping ferrules are used to create loop ends on cable assemblies or to attach two assemblies together, featuring an hourglass duplex shape that allows for the smoothest swage and crimp.

These Stainless Steel Ferrules are extruded and heat treated for the best cold-forming properties, and the sleeve size must match the cable diameter for proper installation using an appropriate swaging tool.

The Stainless Steel Double Barrel Crimping Loop Sleeve features a double barrel design that ensures a secure and reliable connection, is simple and easy to use, and offers corrosion and rust resistance for a secure connection every time.

Stainless Steel Hourglass Sleeves are hand swages also known as crimps or ferrules, designed to work with high and medium flexibility stainless steel wire rope, with each size specifically matched to a particular wire diameter.

Double barrel crimping ferrules used to link two strands of wire together are called duplex swages, and hourglass swages are viewed as hand swages requiring only a mechanical tool rather than a hydraulic press.

These Stainless Steel Ferrules are typically used with thimbles so that when secured, the force of the bearing point is evenly distributed along the thimble, minimizing wear and stretch on the wire cable for a professional and durable termination.
