LGRIG® Foam Fenders, also known as Foam Filled Fenders.
LGRIG® Foam Fenders are made of a closed-cell polyethylene foam core with an outer skin of reinforced rubber or polyurethane elastomer, where the foam absorbs impacts while the skin resists wear and tear in aggressive environments.
Foam Filled Fenders are a floating type compression fender that is highly versatile and suitable for a wide range of applications, consisting of an outer polyurethane protective layer, a reinforced rubber nylon cord fabric, and an internal space filled with foam as a medium to absorb collision.
These foam fenders feature an outer layer with extremely low frictional resistance and high resistance to wear due to its strength, efficiently absorbing impact force and reducing the resultant force acted upon the wharf or vessel at the point of contact.
LGRIG® Foam Fenders are easy to install and maintain, offering safe and reliable performance for tugs, workboats, pilot boats, and are suitable for open sea terminals, gravity ports, especially for large tidal wave docks. Foam Filled Fenders are also a viable option for ship-to-ship (STS) operations, providing dependable protection in demanding marine environments.
