LGRIG® Stainless Steel Wing Nut DIN315

LGRIG® Stainless Steel Wing Nut DIN315, also known as Butterfly Nut, or Butterfly Wing Nut.

LGRIG® butterfly nut is one of the most useful fastener products, featuring wing-like projections that provide leverage for turning with thumb and forefinger. Wing nut works like most other nuts, designed to hold two or more objects together when used in conjunction with a bolt. Butterfly wing nut can be twisted onto the end of a bolt to prevent connected objects from pulling away, offering the major benefit of easy installation and removal.

Butterfly nuts are used when a part is often assembled and disassembled manually, requiring no more than finger pressure, and may be used with or without a washer. Wing nuts are popular for applications where convenience is vital, such as on boats and bicycles, thanks to their ease of use.

The butterfly nut features two large metal wings, one on each side, allowing it to be tightened or loosened easily by hand without tools, making it ideal for settings where fasteners need to be opened and fastened repeatedly with comfort. Butterfly Nuts are classified by method of manufacturing and style, precisely engineered to offer a reliable and strong fastening solution with thread diameters of M10, M12, and M16, suited for a wide range of applications requiring quick assembly or disassembly.
