G100 Clevis Self Locking Safety Hook with Grip Latch GBK LG RIGGING®

G100 Clevis Self Locking Safety Hook with Grip Latch GBK LG RIGGING®, also known as Clevis Self Locking Grip Hook, Grade 100 Grip Latch Self Locking Hook, or Grade 10 Safety Hook Clevis Type, fitted with Grip latch, GBK type.

The Grade 100 Grip Self-Locking Hook features a secure clevis connection for direct chain attachment and operates via a spring-loaded mechanism: the hook remains open for rigging until engaged by the load, then automatically locks; release requires deliberate pressure on the rear trigger only when unloaded. Forged from quenched and tempered G100 high-tensile alloy steel.

Safety engineering includes a grip latch that serves dual purposes—maintaining load retention against vibration/shift and acting as a visual gauge for hook/latch deformation—while the interlocking latch-and-bowl design prevents accidental disengagement.

Rigorously tested via 100% magnaflux crack detection, individual proof testing at 2.5x WLL, and batch break testing at 4x WLL (4:1 safety factor), it offers traceable reliability. Featuring a deep chain pocket to prevent mismatch and a wide throat for versatile rigging (chains, slings, master links), the design prioritizes rugged safety in construction, manufacturing, and transport. Premium models add a high-visibility finish and compact form factor for critical overhead lifting applications.
